Lacyquilter Challenge

Melody over at Lilacs and Butterflies posted a challenge to make a card with lots of blue and atleast 1 butterfly , for a chance to win some blog candy , so this is what I came up with . I ran a dark blue piece of textured CS thru the cuttlebug with a Fiskars texture plate , used blue Spica glitter pen on some of the butterflies . Flowers are from an EK Success punch and have a glittered brad in the center of them . Used a butterfly corner punch in all the corners and added ribbon . Hope you like it Melody !

I know I have not posted any cards in quite some time as it has been some time since I have had the chance to stamp . Our 14 year old autistic son has been extremely challenging over the past 6 months or so , which has left me physically and emotionally drained and I guess you could say mojoless if that is a word . I have recently made some cards , about 4 of them but I need to take pics of them so I can get them posted and I am going to try to get back in the swing of making cards on a regular basis again . Thanks to all of you who check my blog on a regular basis hoping to see something new posted . I should have something up in a day or so .

A New Look & Lastel's Loot !

Last week I was checking all the blogs I subscribe to and ran across Jackie's blog Just Stamp It where I found the link to The Cutest Blog on the Block , (the link is in the upper left hand corner of my blog) and that is where I found this beautiful blog template , and so easy to use , and you don't lose any of you stuff when you add it to your blog . I love it ! What do you think ?

Don't have a card quite yet but I wanted to tell you about the blog candy , so you can start entering to win it . What I have for the winner is a Martha Stewart edge punch called Cornice & I may add in a few other goodies before the week is over . I AM BACK !

I am done with delivering the paper now and will be stamping sometime this week , I can't wait as I have not stamped in a few months and I miss it badly . I have a bit of organizing to do this week as well . I purchased some organizer cubes that were on clearence at Michael's this last week , they normaly sold for $34.99 each and I got 7 of them for less the $75.00 , 5 of them have 3 drawers each in them and the other 2 have 9 pockets in them , they had sold out of the ones with shelves in them , darn it .
While I was shopping at Michael's this last week I picked up a goodie to give away and I think you will like it . So check back near the end of the week for a Lastel's Loot post and a card or two , maybe sooner if I am lucky enough to get some stamping done before then . An Update and Blog Candy Alert !

I have been away way too long and have not stamped in what seems like forever , and I really miss it . We have turned in our 2 week notice with the Oregonian , delivering the paper with gas prices so high just does not pay off . So after the 15th we will not be quite so busy and I should be able to to finally get some stamping done .

I promised a while back to have some Lastel's Loot (blog candy) soon , well I am still planning on doing that , so stay tuned and I will try to have a post about it sometime in the next few weeks .

I have been a really bad blogger lately , but for good reason . My Man Demitri and I have been delivering the Oregonian Newspaper for the last few weeks and it has been really hard adjusting to this new schedule . I really miss stamping , and I am hoping I can stamp real soon , just bear with me and I will start posting again as soon as I can . Handcrafted Earrings

I finally found some time to take a pic and post some earrings I made several weeks ago . Most of the beads and findings were either purchased at Michaels or Walmart . These I made for myself .
