SC160 Time Well Spent Butterflies
I made this card using the general layout of the SC160 on SCS , although it is not exact it is pretty close , did not want the darker color to be too overstated . The butterflies are stamped on pink CS and then cut out and colored with glitter gel pens. The polkadot paper is by DCWV from the All Dressed Up stack . Butterflies are popped up on pop dots . Rectangle scallop punch out used behind the butterflies . Everything is stamped in black versafine . I am not real pleased with the way the butterly antennae look cut out .

cute springy card....that's a fun set! A trick I do with butterflies sometimes is stamp them on the layer where you want them, then the antenna will be on the design paper. Then cut out your butterfly without the antennae and apply over the top.
ReplyDeleteI think you did a great job cutting them on this card though!
Hey bloggin sistah! I love the way theses butterflies look like they are jumping off the card. I hope to get to stamp this weekend and I want to try to make my butterflies do this. Thanks for the inspiration!!
