Supplies used :
Mega and Giga scallop circle punches
Wide ribbon (from Dollar Tree)
Winter Matstack from DCWV

Handcrafted Jewelry for Christmas
My TOPS group had a Christmas party Monday night and we were to bring a gift that was a minimum $15.00 value , so since I make jewelry I decided to make this set for my gift , definitely more then a $15.00 value . Of coarse since it was a small package and not a heavy one it was almost the last to be picked , which made me feel bad , like maybe my gift was not good enough , I think the gal that ended up with it liked it . The glass beads are purple and light blue(Elite Better Beads) with decorative silver accents(Elite Better Beads).
I will be posting more jewelry I have made throughout this week .

Christmas Treat Card
We made these fun treat cards at our Tuesday night stamping class last week , my friend Chris taught us how to make these . They are very fun and easy to make .
The Santa image has glitter on all the parts that are usually white such as beard etc. , main image and shiney gold piece are mounted on pop dots . The red piece is 5.5" x 3.25" and scored at 3"& 3.5" , use a tiny hole punch to make holes for the gold thread to go thru . Tissue paper was used on this for the pockets but I would recommend to use DP , cut a piece about 5"x 5" and fold to make a double pocket for candy , tea or whatever you want to tuck into the pockets . Ribbon is about 20 inches long . Hope these instructions are not to vague , if you have any questions please let me know .

I WON BLOG CANDY......TWICE !!!
On the 13th of November I received an email update from Julia Stainton's blog which I had subscribed to months ago , I clicked on the link and it said Christmas Card Kit Winners…. I scrolled down and read on and it said : My first winner, the winner of the Basic Grey 6x6 Figgy Pudding pad and the Lizzie Anne Designs Joy to the World stamp set and a few other goodies, is number 135. Congratulations Lastel! I about fell off my chair , I think I was in shock ! How thrilling and exciting , it was the first time I had ever won blog candy , and I have tried on dozens of blogs for several months now and no luck , but today was my lucky day .
Then at 1:14 am on the 14th I received an email update from Paper Pleasing Ideas , Reneejul1's blog which read , We're Payin' It To...

I had won a $25.00 gift certificate to PaperWorksCo.com , again I about fell off my chair when I read my name as the winner . Now how often does one win something twice in a 24 hour period ? I think not very often ! I am thrilled to have been chosen the winner of these prizes ! Both of these fine young ladies are awesome stampers and you must check out their blogs if you have not already , and please go check out PaperWorksCo.com as well , they have some great deals going on right now .

SC148 Season of Joy
These 2 cards were made as a project for my tuesday night class with my stamping buddies . They loved this project . I used SCS sketch challenge #148 for the layout , but turned it on it's side . I was not paying close attention to what I was pasting down and switched the top layers from the way I wanted to put them , so I will be making another set and make them the way I entended these to be . It is hard to see in the picture , but there is DD glitter on the tree and star .
The main image is stamped on the white cs then again on another piece and the cut out and is raised up with 3-d glue dots , as is the entire main image panel This is a very simple quick card to make .
Supplies used :
Stamps : Season of Joy
Paper : Wisper White , Purely Pom., Wild Wasabi , DCWV winter matstack
Ink : Wild Wasabi , Purely Pomegranite
accessories : gold organdy ribbon , DD glitter , glue pen , glue dots

Sparkly Joy
October was a crazy month for me and I was unable to stamp and post as much as I would like to have done , but I do finally have something .
I had to opportunity to join a swap with my uplines yahoo group , no special theme and NVR , so this is the card I came up with , it is my first time using my circle scallop punches and my new set of stamps . I like how it turned out . The scan does not show the glitter very well .
Supplies used are :
Mega and Giga scallop punches
Illuminations stamp set
Baroque Burgandy Ink
DCWV Winter Matstack
Non SU! CS
DD Glitter
Satin ribbon
White gel pen
I am hoping to be able to post on a more regular basis very soon . Thanks for looking !
When I reach 1000 hits I will be offering some Blog candy , so stay tuned !

Second Annual OR/WA SCS Gathering
Yesterday I had the pleasure of attending the second SCS gathering & shoebox swap that we have had here in Oregon and I must tell you it was a blast . There were door prizes for everyone donated by various vendors and attendees and some awesome raffle prizes also , with the funds raised from the raffle going to a local charity . My upline sumtoy on SCS(Roseanne) won the grand raffle prize , just as she did last year , lucky lady I tell ya . A big Thanks to all the vendors who participated !!!
We met lots of awesome ladies from Oregon and Washington , and look forward to seeing them again at future events .
After the event a large group of us got together and had dinner at a local Red Robin and that was a blast as well . We got to know some of these awesome ladies even better at dinner .
A huge thanks to all the sweet ladies who put this event together , Doodah, Dorinda , & Stamps&Cars you all pulled it off wonderfully .
You can find pics posted on SCS if you are a member there , you know what I am talking about .
